KANISHKA SONTHALIA

Kanishka Sonthalia (b. 1990) is a documentary filmmaker and photographer. Her work focuses on social issues, the social construct, and the identity of sub-communities. She is a graduate of the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography, New York. Her work has been published in Time Magazine, Bloomberg News, Al Jazeera, and Financial Times, to name a few. Until I Fly is her first feature-length documentary film. She is the co-director and producer of the film.

SIDDESH SHETTY

Siddesh Shetty (b. 1989) is a cinematographer and director. He holds a Master's Degree in Cinematography from FAMU, Prague, Czech Republic. His experience lies in direction and cinematography of fiction and non-fiction films. His short fiction film where he worked as a cinematographer, Benny, was selected for Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner, 2021, and premiered at the Curtas de Vila do Conde International Film Festival, 2021. ‘Until I Fly’ is his first feature-length documentary film. He is the co-director and cinematographer of the film.

CHRISTILLA HUILLARD KANN

CO-PRODUCER

Christilla Huillard Kann (b. 1972) is the co-founder of Elda° Productions, a production company based in Paris. ELDA° produces and coproduces for French and international markets, focusing on social issues, contemporary history, and culture. Their main partners include CNC Funds, Eurimages, FTV, ARTE, French Regional Funds, European TV broadcasters, World Cinema Fund, Catapult, Procirep, and festivals such as IDFA, Berlinale, FIFA, Artecinema. Before this, she was Deputy Director of New Media at Radio France, and commissioning editor at ARTE France.

AUDREY MAURION

EDITOR

Audrey Maurion (b. 1966) is a French editor and director who graduated in philosophy. She has been working as a freelance editor for feature and documentary films since 1995. Among the award-winning documentaries she has edited are: A Specialist by Eyal Sivan and Rony Brauman, Conversations on a Sunday Afternoon by Khalo Matabane, Ici on noie des Algeriens, 17 octobre 1961 by Yasmina Adi, The Siege by Rémy Ourdan and Patrick Chauvel and the recent series Slavery Routes directed by Fanny Glissant, Juan Gélas, and Daniel Cattier. She worked as co-writer and editor on a documentary about the Tiananmen massacre for Arte and PBS. In 2023, she co-directed a documentary with Mathieu Glissant on Frantz Fanon.

JÉRÔME REBOTIER

Jérôme Rebotier is a French music composer. He has collaborated with Delphine Gleize and Tonie Marshall, Matthieu Delaporte, Alexandre de La Patellière, Martin Bourboulon, Pierre Coré. He has worked on several documentary series, including Les routes de l’esclavage, La guerre des enfants, and Protestants de France. He is currently working on the music for Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière’s next film, dedicated to the Count of MONTE CRISTO, based on the work of Alexandre Dumas (Pathé Films).
